Report of Cardinal Kurt Koch from the Vatican named "The Question of Christian Values in Europe" begins this issue. It was read at the VII International Conference "The Orthodox-Catholic Dialogue: Christian Ethical Values as a Contribution to the Social Life of Europe", which was held in Minsk on November 13.

We continue the publication of excerpts from the book «Benedict XVI. Light of the World: the Pope, the Church and the Signs of the Times. An interview with Peter Seewald» translated from German by Iryna Burak, and also translation of «Characteristics of the works of St. Thomas» by Stephan Svyazhauski made by Ales Zhlutka, as well as translation of «Following Christ» by Thomas a Kempis made by Stanislau Grynkevich. In conclusion of the translation of «Flowers of St. Francis» Aksana Danilchyk offers readers a poem by the Italian poet Gianni D’Elia dedicated to this Saint.

Father Piotra Rudkouski OP in his article entitled «Mi-cha-el?» discusses the issue of leadership in Belarus and consider that the Lord God is its only leader.

Memoirs of father Stanislau Ryzhko «Such He Was», prepared for printing by father Stanislau Paulina, is dedicated to the memory of Cardinal Kazimierz Swiatek.

Parishioner of Minsk Cathedral Victoria Nitiyeuskaya kindly talks about her birthplace in the article «Memories that delight my soul.».

The article by Valery Buival «Pieter Bruegel the Elder. The Tower of Babel» deals with the next masterpiece of world art.

In interview «I Plan to Create a Film-Triptych Dedicated to the Virgin Mary...» chief editor of «Our Faith» Kristina Lialko talks to Italian director Elizabeth Castagna, who took part in the International Film Festival «Magnificat» in Belarus, about documentary films. «Dependence is always a suffering» is the title of the conversation of Kristina Lialko with mother Sophia (President of the International Sretensky Orthodox Festival «Meeting».

Famous Belarusian restorer Arkadz Shpunt in his article «On occasion of an Exhibition» interestingly discusses the features of his work.

Article by Danuta Bichel «Trees, Birds, Clouds...» is dedicated to the book by Venantsy Butrym «Silent Sad Birds».

Article «The Poetry of the Life-giving Light» by literary critic Iryna Bagdanovich is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Maxim Bagdanovich.

Julia Shedzko offers readers a translation of the Herbert Wells’ work «A Vision of Judgement».

Articles «Oases of Nil Gilevich» by Mihas Skobla and «Life and Times of Nil Gilevich» by Ales Chobat are dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the national poet of Belarus Nil Gilevich.

Candidate of Philosophy Izyaslau Marozau in his article «Science and Religion about the Creation of the Universe» offers readers his arguments regarding this difficult topic.

In the end we propose the publication of the researcher and archivist Yury Lauryk «Book Collection of the Minsk Dominican Convent in 1709».

RESÜMEE

Diese Ausgabe der Zeitschrift beginnt mit dem Vortrag von Kardinal Kurt Koch (Vatikan) „Zur Frage nach den christlichen Werten in Europa“, der während der VII. Internationalen Konferenz „Orthodox-katholischer Dialog: christliche ethische Werte als Beitrag zum sozialen Leben Europas“ in Minsk am 13. November gehalten wurde.

Fortgesetzt werden: die Publikation der Auszüge aus dem Buch „Benedikt XVI. Licht der Welt: Der Papst, die Kirche und die Zeichen der Zeit. Ein Gespräch mit Peter Seewald“ in der Übersetzung aus dem Deutschen von Iryna Burak; die von Alesj Shlutka ausgeführte Übersetzung des Werkes von Stefan Swiezawski „Charakteristik des Schaffens des heiligen Thoma“ sowie die von Stanislau Grynkewitsch ausgeführte Übersetzung des Werkes von Thomas von Kempen „Nachfolge Christi“. Zum Abschluss der Übersetzung des Buches „Blümchen des heiligen Franziskus“ bietet Aksana Daniltschyk den Leserinnen und Lesern das Gedicht des italienischen Poeten Gianni D’Elia, das diesem Heiligen gewidmet ist.

Vater Pjotr Rudkouski reflektiert im Artikel „Mi-cha-el?“ über die Frage der Führung in Belarus und ist überzeugt davon, dass Gott der einzige Führer ist.

Dem Andenken an den Kardinal Kasimierz Swjatek sind die Erinnerungen von Priester Stanislau Ryshko „So war er…“ gewidmet, die von Priester Stanislau Paulin zum Druck vorbereitet wurden.

Viktoria Nizieuskaja aus der Gemeinde der Minsker erzkathedralen katholischen Kirche erzählt im Artikel „Erinnerungen, die die Seele trösten“ liebevoll über ihre kleine Heimat.

In der Publikation von Walery Bujwal „Pieter Bruegel der Ältere. Der Turmbau zu Babel“ wird über ein weiteres Meisterwerk der Weltmalerei erzählt.

Im Interview „Ich habe vor, einen Triptychon-Film, der der Gottesmutter gewidmet ist, zu drehen“ spricht die Chefredakteurin der Zeitschrift „Unser Glaube“ Kristina Lialko mit der italienischen Regisseurin Elisabeth Kastania, die am Internationalen Filmfestival „Magnificat“ in Belarus teilgenommen hat, über Dokumentarfilme. „Abhängigkeit ist immer Geduld“ heißt das Gespräch von Kristina Lialko und Mutter Sofia (Präsidentin des Internationalen orthodoxen Lichtmess-Filmfestivals „Begegnung“).

Der bekannte belarussische Restaurator Arkadzj Spunt erzählt im Artikel „Aus dem Anlass einer Ausstellung“ interessant über die Besonderheiten seiner Arbeit.

Der Artikel von Danuta Bitschel „Bäume, Vögel, Wolken…“ ist dem Buch von Venanzo Butrimo „Schweigende traurige Vögel“ gewidmet.

Anlässlich des 120. Geburtstages von Maxim Bagdanowitsch wurde der Artikel der Literaturwissenschaftlerin Iryna Bagdanowitsch „Poesie des lebensspendenden Lichtes“ geschrieben.

In der Rubrik „Poesie“ befinden sich die Gedichte von Marjan Duksa.

Julia Schedzko bietet den Leserinnen und Lesern die Übersetzung des Werkes von H. G. Wells „Traum vom Jüngsten Gericht“.

Die Ausgabe endet mit der Publikation des Archivforschers Jury Lauryk „Büchersammlungen des Mensker dominikanischen Konventes im Jahre 1709“.

PODSUMOWANIE

Ten numer czasopisma rozpoczyna się wykładem kardynała Kurta Kocha (Watykan) „Pytania o chrześcijańskich wartościach w Europie” na VII Międzynarodowej konferencji „Prawosławno-katolicki dialog: chrześcijańskie etyczne wartości, będące wkładem w życie społeczne Europy”, wygłoszonym w Mińsku 13 listopada.

Daje jest kontynuacja fragmentów z ksiązki: „Benedykta XVI. Światłość świata. Papież, Kościół i znaki czasu. Rozmowa z Peterem Seewaldem” w przekładzie z języka niemieckiego Iryny Burak, przekład Alesia żłótki pracy Stefana Świeżawskiego „Charakterystyka twórczości świętego Tomasza”, jak również przekład pracy Tomasza a Kempis „O naśladowaniu Chrystusa”, wykonany przez Stanisława Grynkiewicza.
