At the beginning of the new issue of the quarterly magazine “Our Faith” you will find memoirs of fr. S. Paulina fDP “He Lived among Us, We were with Him...”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Cardinal K. Świątek (p. 2–8).

In column “In the Context of the Bible” we print an article by M. Pashuk “Ruth, a Moabitess” where the author refers to the undated concept of shame (p. 9–11).

“The Four Loves” is the title of the work by English writer and theologian C.S. Lewis, we propose an excerpt from this work translated by Y. Shedzko (Section IV. «Friendship”) (p. 12–15).

Interview titled “Eastern Europe is truly one of the Lungs of Europe...” by journalist I. Lapato with the head of “Renovabis” fr. S. Dartmann SJ is dedicated to the important issues of media in Central and Eastern Europe. Fr. A. Amyalchenya in his article “An Egg Is Valuable by Easter” writes about the problems of the Catholic media in the Church (p. 16–22).

We also continue to publish the translation of the work by Stephan Svyazhauski “Saint Thomas, Re-read” made by A. Zhlutka, Section XIII, “The Concept of Man” (p. 23–26).

Candidate of art S. Sheipa in her article “Zalatagorskaya shrine: to the 150th Anniversary of the Consecration” tells the story of one of the most distinctive churches in Minsk (p. 27–30).

I. Lewandowskaya in her article “An Example for the Unbelievers — the Prison Fate of sr. Wanda Boniszewska” writes about Christian ability to remain human in the most unbearable conditions of life (p. 31–37).

An article by S. Hresvi “What does not the Bologna Process show up?” is being published in “Education” section.

Art historian A. Yarashevich in his article “Our Lady of Studzyany in Belarus” offers to the readers the history of one of the most interesting Catholic icons (p. 43–45).

Deputy director of the National Art Museum of Belarus N. Usava in article “Belongs to Belarus” tells the readers about the life and work of artist A. Garauski (p. 46–51).

I. Bagdanovich in article “Heavenly Patroness from Vilna” writes about prayer poetry in honor of Our Lady of Ostraya Brama (Gate of Dawn) (p. 52–55).

In column “Poetry” we place new poems by D. Bichel and V. Zhukovich (p. 56–59).

Historian and archivist A. Shpunt in his article “The Warrior and the Investor” confronts the readers with the activities of Mstislav voivode and Senator of Rzeczpospolita Y. Korsak (p. 60–61).

Art critic V. Buival in his essay “Big Marian Basilica” writes about the ancient Roman shrine (p. 62–64). Master of theology Y. Rashatko in his article “The Essence of the Teaching of Reincarnation and View of the Catholic Church” ponders over the mystery of post-mortem human condition in different religions (p. 64–69).

V. Buival in column “Gallery” tells the readers about another masterpiece of world art, work of Hans Holbein the Younger “Madonna of Jakob Meyer” (p. 70–71).

RESÜMEE

Die neue Nummer der Vierteljahreszeitschrift „Unser Glaube“ beginnt mit den Erinnerungen des Priesters S. Paulina FDP „Er lebte unter uns, und wir waren mit ihm…“, die dem 100. Geburtstag vom Kardinal K. Świątek gewidmet sind (S. 2–8).

Die Rubrik „Im Kontext der Bibel“ enthält den Artikel von M. Paschuk „Moabiterin Ruth“, in dem die Autorin sich mit dem immer aktuellen Begriff der Scham beschäftigt (S. 9–11).

„Vier Arten der Liebe“ heißt das Werk des englischen Schriftstellers und Theologen C.S. Lewis, dessen Fortsetzung (Abschnitt IV „Freundschaft“) in der Übersetzung von J. Schedsjko fortgesetzt wird (S. 12–15).

Das Interview „Osteuropa ist wirklich eine der Lungen Europas…“ des Journalisten I. Lapato mit dem Renovabis-Leiter Pater S. Dartmann ist den wichtigen Fragen zu den Massenmedien in Mittel- und Osteuropa gewidmet. Ebenfalls über die Probleme in den Massenmedien in der Katholischen Kirche schreibt der Priester A. Ameltschenja im Artikel „Teures Osterei“ (S. 16–22).
