We start the new issue of the quarterly magazine “Our Faith” with the article “Time of Mercy”, which contains the text of Pope Francis’ homily with announcement of extraordinary Jubilee dedicated to Divine Mercy (p. 2).

An extract from the speech by Metropolitan Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz dedicated to the Year of Divine Mercy is being printed (p. 3).

We present some articles dedicated to the history of the Salesian Society and to St. John Bosco (prepared by Y. Shedzko): essays “Da Mihi Animas Caetera Tolle”, “Teacher of Youth — Saint John Bosco», «Activity of the Society of St. Francis de Sales in Belarus» (p. 4–13).

A. Wooden offers the readers the article «Agent of Jesus Christ» about the participation of the Orthodox priest V. Baravoy in the Second Vatican Council (the article is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the end of the work of Vatican II) (p. 14–19).

We print the article “It Is Cold in Our House” by the famous theologian and poet fr. Wacław Oszajca SJ translated from Polish by Y. Shedzko. The author discusses the complex problems of the modern Church (p. 20–23).

From the article «Ways to the Word» by fr. S. Surynovich, a doctoral candidate in biblical theology, you will learn about translations of the Bible into the Belarusian language (p. 24–31).

Article “The Birds of Čiurlionis” by L. Kaminskaya dedicated to the memory of a unique Lithuanian Catholic composer and artist M.-K. Čiurlionis (p. 32–35).

Musicologist S. Nemagay dedicated her article “Called by the Name of the Disciple from Emmaus” to the 250th anniversary of M. K. Oginski (p. 36–41).

In the column «Poetry» we place some verses by M. Duksa and prominent Belarusian folklorist, Doctor of Philology, A. Lis (p. 42–45).

M. Skobla in the essay «To Protect One’s Hives...» writes about the interesting book by Z. Veras «As Far as the Hand Holding the Pen» which contains the memories and letters of the famous writer (p. 46–49).

Poetess D. Bichel in the essay «Vasil Bykau and Aliaxey Karpyuk» recalls her meetings with the prominent Belarusian writers (p. 50–53).

In the column «Prose» we publish some notes by U. Siuchykau «From the «Stories by Uladzia» (p. 54–56).

Historian A. Shpunt dedicated his article «Go ye therefore, and teach all nations...» to the memory of a forgotten church leader fr. M. S. Ryla SJ (p. 57–61).

T. Shchyry in his article «A Pioneer of the Catholic Press» writes about the interesting history of the first Belarusian-language Catholic newspaper “Biełarus” on the occasion of its 100th anniversary (p. 62–65).

A. Trafimchyk in his article «Maria Konopnicka of Tadeusz Kosciuszko in Belarusian» talks about the book of poems by M. Konopnicka, published in Warsaw in 2014 (p. 66–67).

We publish the article «Vankovich, a Portraitist” by N. Usava dedicated to the 215th anniversary of the birth of the artist V. Vankovich (p. 68–71).

RESÜMEE

Die neue Nummer der Vierteljahreszeitschrift „Unser Glaube“ beginnt mit dem Artikel „Die Zeit der Barmherzigkeit“, der den Text der Homilie von Papst Franziskus anlässlich der Verkündigung des Außerordentlichen

Heiligen Jahres „Jubiläum der Barmherzigkeit“ in der Katholischen Kirche enthält (S. 2-3).

Der Geschichte der Kongregation der Salesianer und dem heiligen Johannes von Gott sind die Materialien, die von J. Schedsjko vorbereitet wurden, gewidmet: Skizzen „Da mihi animas caetea tolle“, „Der Lehrer der Jugendlichen – der heilige Johannes von Gott“, „Die Tätigkeit der Gemeinschaft des heiligen Franz von Sales in Belarus“ (S. 4-13).

A. Wuden bietet den Leserinnen und Lesern den Artikel „Ein Agent von Jesus Christus“ über die Teilnahme des orthodoxen Priesters Pater W. Barawoj am II. Vatikanischen Konzil (anlässlich des 50. Jahrestages der Eröffnung des II. Vatikanischen Konzil) (S. 14-19).

Der Artikel „In unserem Haus ist es kalt“ des bekannten Theologen und Poeten Wacław Oszajca SJ ist in der belarussischen Übersetzung aus dem Polnischen von J. Schedsjko veröffentlicht. In diesem Artikel reflektiert die Autorin über komplizierte Probleme der modernen Katholischen Kirche (S. 20-23).

Über die Übersetzungen der Bibel ins Belarussische berichtet der Doktorand der biblischen Theologie Priester S. Surynowitsch im Artikel „Wege zum Wort“ (S. 24-31).

Dem Andenken an den einzigartigen litauischen Komponisten und Maler, Katholiken M. K. Čiurlionis ist der Artikel von L. Kaminskaja „Die Vögel von Čiurlionis“ gewidmet (S. 32-35).

Anlässlich des 250. Jahrestages von M. K. Oginski wurde der Artikel der Musikwissenschaftlerin S. Nemagaj „Nach dem Namen des Schülers aus Emmaus genannt“ vorbereitet (S. 36-41).

Die Rubrik „Poesie“ enthält Gedichte von M. Duksa und A. Lisa, dem bekannten belarussischen Volkskundler, Doktor der philologischen Wissenschaften (S. 42-45).

In der Skizze „Die eigenen Bienenhäuser beschützen“ schreibt M. Skobla interessant über das Buch von S. Weras „Solange die Hand die Feder hält“, das die Erinnerungen und Briefe der berühmten Schriftstellerin enthält (S. 46-49).

Die Poetin D. Bitschel erinnert sich im Essay „Wassil Bykau und Aljaksej Karpjuk“ an ihre Treffen mit hervorragenden belarussischen Schriftstellern (S. 50-53).

In der Rubrik „Prosa“ sind die Aufzeichnungen von U. Siutschykau «Aus der Reihe „Ulads Geschichten“» veröffentlicht (S. 54-56).

Dem Andenken an den in Vergessenheit geratenen Kirchenschaffenden Pater M.S. Ryla SJ ist der Artikel des Geschichtswissenschaftlers A. Spunt „So gehet hin und lehret alle Völker “ gewidmet (S. 57-61).

T. Schtschyry schreibt im Artikel „Der Pionier des katholischen Drucks“ anlässlich des 100. Jubiläums der ersten belarussischsprachigen katholischen Zeitung „Biełarus“ über ihre interessante Geschichte (S. 62-65).

Im Artikel von A. Trafimtschyk „Maria Konopnicka über Tadeusz Kościuszko auf Belarussisch“ erzählt über den Gedichtband von M. Konopnicka, der 2014 in Warschau veröffentlicht wurde (S. 66-67).

Anlässlich des 215.Geburtstages des Malers W. Wanjkowitsch ist der Artikel von N. Usawa „Wanjkowitsch als Porträtmaler“ (S. 68-71).

PODSUMOWANIE

Nowy numer kwartalnika „Nasza wiara” rozpoczyna się materiałem „Czas miłosierdzia”, w którym został zamieszczony tekst homilii, wygłoszonej przez papieża Franciszka z okazji ogłoszenia w Kościele Jubileuszu Nadzwyczajnego Roku Miłosierdzia (s. 2-3).

Historii kongregacji salezjanów i postaci św. Jana Bosko poświęcone są materiały przygotowane przez J. Szedźko: eseje „Da mihi animas caetera tolle”, Nauczyciel młodzieży – święty Jan Bosko” oraz „Działalność Towarzystwa świętego Franciszka Salezego na Białorusi” (s. 4-13).

A. Wooden proponuje czytelnikom artykuł „Agent Jezusa Chrystusa” o udziale w II Soborze Watykańskim prawosławnego kapłana ojca W. Barawoga (w 50-rocznicę zakończenia prac II Soboru Watykańskiego) (s. 14-19).

W przekładzie z języka polskiego J. Szedźko drukujemy artykuł znanego teologa i poety Wacława Oszajcy SJ „Zimno w naszym domu”, w którym autor rozważa o złożonych problemach współczesnego Kościoła (s. 20-23).

O przekładzie Biblii na język białoruski opowiada w artykule „Drogi do Słowa” doktorant teologii biblijnej ks. S. Surynowicz (s. 24-31).

Pamięci wyjątkowego litewskiego kompozytora i artysty, katolika M.K Čiurlionisa poświęcony jest materiał Ł. Kamińskiej „Ptaki Čiurlionisa” (s. 32-35).

Z okazji 250. rocznicy urodzin M.K. Ogińskiego przygotowany został artykuł muzykoznawcy S. Niemagaj „Imieniem ucznia z Emaus nazwany” (s. 36-41).

W rubryce „Poezja” zamieszczone zostały wiersze M. Duksy i znanego białoruskiego folklorysty, doktora nauk filologicznych A. Lisa (s. 42-45).

M. Skobła w eseju „Bronić swoje ule…” pisze ciekawie o książce Z. Wieras „Dopóki ręka pióro trzyma”, w której są przedstawione wspomnienia i listy sławnej pisarki (s. 46-49).

Poetka D. Biczel w eseju „Wasyl Bykow i Aleksiej Karpiuk” wspomina o swoim spotkaniu z wielkimi białoruskimi pisarzami (s. 50-53).

T. Szczyry w artykule „Pionier katolickiego druku”, z okazji 100-lecia pierwszej białoruskojęzycznej katolickiej gazety „Biełarus”, pisze o jej ciekawej historii (s. 62-65).

W artykule „Maria Konopnicka o Tadeuszu Kościuszce po białorusku” A. Trafimczyk opowiada o książce wierszy M. Konopnickiej, która wyszła w Warszawie w 2014 roku (s. 66-67).
