We open the new issue of the quarterly magazine “Our Faith” with the essay of Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz “Theology of Fatima apparitions and their topicality in our time”, given by the Belarusian hierarch at symposium in Zhodzina, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Fatima apparitions. A. Grajewski in his article “Pope who wanted to stop the war” talks about Holy Father Benedict XV, whose pontificate was during World War I and Fatima apparitions (p. 2–9).

We continue to publish translation of the treatise of St. John of the Cross “The Ascent of Mount Carmel” (translated from Spanish by S. Gresvi) (p. 10–12).

Teacher of Sacred Scripture, Doctor of Biblical Studies M. Pashuk offers the readers article “Road of Life”, where she tells the readers about one of the most interesting books of the Old Testament, Book of Tobit (p. 13–17).

Historian A. Vashkievich dedicates his article “They had their way to independence” to Belarusian Catholic priests and the Belarusian Christian Democracy party (p. 18–21).

Doctor of Philology A. Maldzis in his article “Where can the burial place of Frantishak Skaryna be?” talks about the secret of burial of the first Belarusian printer (p. 22–24).

Belarusian composer A. Chyrkun in his material “I thank God for the inspiration” presents his music with the words of Frantishak Skaryna (p. 25–26).

Restorer A. Shpunt in his article “Icon of Palessie area dialects” presents an interesting story of folk icons from Palessie region and their authors (p. 27–35).

Article “Beauty in simplicity” by Doctor of Arts T. Gabrus is dedicated to the Belarusians wooden shrines (p. 36–42).

Candidate of Philology I. Bagdanovich offers her translation of a poem by G. Puzynia “The Church in Bialynichy” (p. 43–45).

Article “In harmony with God’s world” by L. Kaminskaya is dedicated to the outstanding Belarusian artist V. Byalynitsky-Birulya, who belonged to the Catholic noble family (p. 46–49).

Y. Malets dedicates his article “A tale for us and for future generations” to the last national poet of Belarus Nil Gilevich (p. 50–52).

H. Shauchenka in her article “On the balance of justice and mercy” tells the readers about the talented representative of Polish poetry A. Gorecki and his works. Here we also publish a poem “Death of the traitor of the Fatherland” by A. Gorecki translated from Polish (p. 53–57).

In column “Poetry” we publish poems by talented photographer and poet G. Lihtarovich (p. 58–59).

Article “How colorful were your songs...” by professor, candidate of philological sciences E. Liavonava is dedicated to the 175th anniversary of famous Polish poetess M. Konopnicka, whose poems were loved by Y. Kupala (p. 60–63).

Literary critic A. Brusievich in his article “The feast of the sublime words” tells the readers of collection of spiritual poetry “Dabravest” (Grodna, 2017) (p. 64–65).

In the essay “The big and the small of Uladzimir Sodal” by M. Skobla the author warmly recollects Belarusian zealous researcher (p. 66–68).

Poetess D. Bichel in her essay “Blessed are the poor in spirit...” meditates on difficult human life (p. 69–71).

RESÜMEE

Die neue Nummer der Vierteljahreszeitschrift beginnt mit dem Referat von Erzbischof Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz „Theologie der Phänomene von Fatima und deren Relevanz in unserer Zeit“, mit dem der belarussische Hierarch auf einem Symposium in Zhodino sprach, das zum 100-jährigen Jubiläum der Phänomene von Fatima gewidmet war. Im Material von A. Grajewski „Der Papst, der den Krieg stoppen wollte“ geht um Papst Benedikt XV., auf dessen Pontifikat der Erste Weltkrieg und die Phänomene von Fatima entfallen sind (S. 2–9).

Fortgesetzt wird die Publikation der Übersetzung des Traktates „Aufstieg auf den Berg Karmel“ des heiligen Johannes vom Kreuz (aus dem Spanischen von S. Greswi) (S. 10–12).

Die Dozentin der Heiligen Schrift und Doktorin der Bibelwissenschaft M. Paschuk berichtet den Leserinnen und Lesern in ihrem Artikel „Der Weg des Lebens“ über eines der interessanten Buches des Altes Testaments — Buch des Tobit (S. 13–17).

Belarussische katholische Priestern und die Organisation Belarussische Christliche Demokratie (BChD) wird im Artikel von Historiker A. Waschkewitsch „Es war bei ihnen ein eigener Weg zur Unabhängigkeit“ behandelt (S. 18–21).

Der Doktor der philologischen Wissenschaften A. Maldzis reflektiert im Artikel „Wo kann sich der Ort der Bestattung Frantsysk Skaryna befinden?“ über das Geheimnis der Grabstätte des Ersten belarussischen Druckers (S. 22–24).

Der belarussische Komponist A. Tschyrkun in der Publikation „Ich danke Gott für die Inspiration“ präsentiert seine Musik auf die Worte der Frantsysk Skaryna (S. 25–26).

Im Artikel „Ikonen im Areal der polesischen Dialekten“ erzählt der Restaurator A. Spunt über völkische Ikonen aus Polesien und ihren Autoren (S. 27–35).

Die hölzerne Heiligtümer von Belarus werden im Artikel „Schönheit in der Einfachheit“ von Doktorin der Kunst T. Gabrusj behandelt (S. 36–42).

Die Kandidatin der philologischen Wissenschaften I. Bagdanowitsch bietet den Leserinnen und Lesern ihre Übersetzung des Gedichtes von G. Puzynja „Die Kirche in Bialynitschy“ (S. 43–45).

Der Persönlichkeit des bekannten belarussischen Malers W. Bjalynizki-Birulja, der aus einem katholischen Adelsgeschlecht stammt, ist der Artikel von L. Kaminskaja „In Harmonie mit dem Gottes Welt“ gewidmet (S. 46–49).

Zur Erinnerung an letzteren Volkspoeten von Belarus Nil Hilewitsch ist der Artikel von J. Maliec „Die Saga für uns und für die Nachkommen“ gewidmet (S. 50–52).

Im Artikel „Auf der Waage der Gerechtigkeit und der Barmherzigkeit“ denkt G. Schautschenka über einer des talentierten Vertreters der Poesie im Polnischen A. Garezki und über seint Werke nach. Es ist hier auch eine Übersetzung aus dem Polnischen des Gedichtes von A. Garezki „Der Tod des Vaterlandesverräters“ veröffentlicht (S. 53–57).

Die Rubrik „Poesie“ enthält Gedichte vom begnadeten Meister der Fotografie und Poet G. Lichtarowitsch (S. 58–59).

Anlässlich des 175. Geburtstags der berühmten polnischen Dichterin M. Kanopnicka, deren Werke Janka Kupala liebte, ist der Artikel von der Kandidatin der philologischen Wissenschaften, Professorin E. Ljawonawa „Wie blumige waren deine Lieder…“ gedruckt (S. 60–63).

Der Literaturwissenschaftler A. Brusiewitsch berichtet im Artikel „Das Fest des erhabenen Wortes“ über der kollektive Sammlung der geistlichen Poesie „Dabrawest“ (Hrodna, 2017) (S. 64–56).

M. Skobla erinnert sich warm im Essay „Große und Kleine von Uladzimir Sodalj“ an diesem fleißigen belarussischen Forscher (S. 66–68).

Über ein schwieriges menschliches Leben reflektiert in ihrem Essay „Selig, die arm sind vor Gott…“ die Poetin D. Bitschel (S. 69–71).

PODSUMOWANIE

Najnowszy numer kwartalnika «Nasza wiara» rozpoczyna się referatem arcybiskupa Tadeusza Kondrusiewicza «Teologia objawień fatimskich i ich aktualność w nasze czasy», który hierarcha białoruski wygłosił na sympozjum w Żodzino, poświęconym 100-leciu objawień fatimskich. W publikacji A. Grajewskiego «Papież, który chciał wstrzymać wojnę» jest mowa o papieżu Benedykcie XV, na którego pontyfikat przypadła pierwsza wojna światowa i objawienia fatimskie (s. 2–9).

Kontynuujemy publikację traktatu św. Jana od Krzyża «Droga na Górę Karmel» (tłum. z języka hiszpańskiego S. Hreswi) (s. 10–12).

Wykładowca Pisma Świętego, doktor biblistyki M. Paszuk proponuje uwadze czytelników artykuł «Droga życia», w którym opowiada o jednej z najciekawszych ksiąg Starego Testamentu — o Księdze Tobiasza (s. 13–17).

Białoruskim kapłanom katolickim i organizacji Białoruska Chrześcijańska Demokracja poświęcony został artykuł historyka A. Waszkiewicza «Oni mieli swoją drogę do niepodległości» (s. 18–21).

Doktor filologii A. Maldis w artykule «Gdzie może znajdować się miejsce pogrzebu Franciszka Skaryny» rozważa tajemnicę pogrzebu pierwszego białoruskiego drukarza (s. 22–24).

Białoruski kompozytor A. Czyrkun w publikacji «Jestem wdzięczny Bogu za natchnienie» prezentuje swoją muzykę do słów Franciszka Skaryny (s. 25–26).

Restaurator A. Szpunt w artykule «Ikona obszaru gwar poleskich» ciekawie opowiada o poleskich ikonach ludowych i ich autorach (s. 27–35).

Drewnianym świątyniom Białorusi poświęcony został artykuł doktora historii sztuki T. Habruś «Piękno w prostocie» (s. 36–42).

Kandydat nauk filologicznych I. Bohdanowicz proponuje uwadze czytelników swoje tłumaczenie wiersza G. Puzyni «Kościół w Białyniczech» (s. 43–45).

Osobie wybitnego białoruskiego malarza W. Białynickiego-Biruli, który pochodził z katolickiego szlacheckiego rodu, poświęcony został artykuł L. Kamińskiej «W harmonii z Bożym światem» (s. 46–49).

Pamięci ostatniego narodowego poety Białorusi Niła Hilewicza poświęcony został artykuł J. Malca «Opowieść dla nas i dla potomków» (s. 50–52).

O utalentowanym przedstawicielu polskojęzycznej poezji A. Goreckim i o jego twórczości opowiada H. Szewczenko w artykule «Na szalach sprawiedliwości i miłosierdzia». Tutaj też drukuje się tłumaczenie z języka polskiego wiersza A. Goreckiego «Śmierć zdrajcy Ojczyzny» (s. 53–57).

W rubryce «Poezja» zostały umieszczone wiersze utalentowanego mistrza fotografii i poety H. Lichtarowicza (s. 58–59).

Z okazji 175-tej rocznicy z dnia urodzin wybitnej polskiej poetki M. Konopnickiej, której poezją zachwycał się J. Kupała, drukuje się artykuł profesora, kandydata nauk filologicznych E. Lawonawaj «Jakże kwieciste były twe pieśni…» (s. 60–63).

Literaturoznawca A. Brusiewicz w artykule «Święto wzniosłego słowa» opowiada o zespołowym zbiorze poezji duchownej «Dabrawiest» (Grodno, 2017) (s. 64–65).

W eseju «Bujnice i drobnice Uładzimira Sodala» M. Skobła z wielkim szacunkiem wspomina o tym gorliwym białoruskim badaczu (s. 66–68).

O niełatwym życiu człowieka rozważa poetka D. Biczel w swoim eseju «Błogosławieni ubodzy w duchu…» (s. 69–71).
