Part of the materials of this issue is dedicated to St. John Paul II. Poem "The Pope Is Praying..." by I. Bagdanovich opens this section, the author wrote it near the paintings of outstanding Belarusian artists S. Shemet and A. Marachkin. Then you can read: a letter of Pope Benedict XVI "To the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Pope John Paul II"; excerpts from Karol Wojtyła's personal notes titled "Nothing Should Frighten Us..." (translated by K. Lyalko) and a biblical reflection with John Paul II by fr. W. Chrostowski "The Place of the Commandment 'Honor Your Father and Your Mother' in the Decalogue" (translated by M. Pashuk). Here you will also find a verse triptych "Fatherland" by I. Bagdanovich and afterword by artist A. Marachkin to the painting "I Ask You, Do not Lose Belarus", whose work is published on the magazine cover.

Article "The Page of the Religious History of Belarus" by I. Bagdanovich is dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the discovering of the miraculous icon of the Mother of God of Zhyrovitsy. The author presents the work of the historian W. Charkiewicz (1890-1950) "Zhyrovitsy Is the Source of Graces..." translated from Polish.

To the 70th anniversary of the Vatican Radio's Belarusian Service we publish continuation of the notes "Through Wonders and Impressions" (1934) by fr. Piotr Tatarynovich, who was the founder of the service.

We offer an excerpt from the documentary story of the famous Belarusian poet L. Dranko-Maisyuk "...Everyone Saw the Lack of Wine ..." (2020), dedicated to the outstanding Belarusian priest A. Stankiewicz, also we publish here a review of this book by literary critic I. Bagdanovich.

In column "Poetry" we publish poems by famous poets Yan Chykvin and A. Danilchyk.

The column "Presentation" contains an essay by deacon M. Grakau "Dante's Beatrice in Bagdanovich's Wreath..." about the book of poetry by A. Danilchyk "Song of Ice" (2020).

The writer A. Siamionava-Herzog continues to acquaint readers with the works of the German novelist G. Kott. This time she translated into Belarusian his work "How the Braunschweig Lion Appeared".

U. Siuchykau publishes his new autobiographical notes titled "Lift Me into the Bright Space...".

Article "Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in Radashkovichy" by historian S. Adamovich is dedicated to the one of the oldest Catholic churches.

In column "Art" we publish an essay by the famous Belarusian restorer A. Shpunt "Kryvichy and Its Environs".

RESÜMEE

Ein Teil der Beiträge dieser Ausgabe ist Johannes Paul II. gewidmet. Den Auftakt bildet das Gedicht „Der Papst betet …“ von I. Bagdanowitsch, das die Autorin beim Betrachten der Gemälde der hervorragenden belarussischen Maler S. Schemet und A. Maratschkin geschrieben hat. Es folgen der Brief des Papstes Benedikt XVI. „Zum 100. Geburtstag des heiligen Papstes Johannes Paul II.“, Auszüge aus persönlichen Aufzeichnungen von Karol Wojtyła mit dem Titel „Nichts darf uns erschrecken …“ (übers. von K. Lialko) und Überlegungen zur Bibel mit Johannes Paul II. des Priesters W. Chrostowski – „Die Stelle des Gebots Ehre deinen Vater und deine Mutter im Dekalog“ (übers. von M. Paschuk). Im Anschluss kommen das gereimte Triptychon „Heimat“ von I. Bagdanowitsch und das Nachwort des Malers A. Maratschkin zu seinem Bild „Ich bitte Sie, stürzen Sie Belarus nicht ins Verderben“, das auf dem Umschlag der Zeitschrift abgebildet ist.

Dem 550. Jahrestag der Erscheinung der wundertätigen Gottesmutterikone in Sсhyrowizy ist der Artikel „Eine Seite aus der Religionsgeschichte von Belarus“ gewidmet, in dem die Autorin das Werk „Schyrowizy – Quellen der Gnaden …“ des Historikers W. Charkewitsch (1890 - 1950) in ihrer Übersetzung aus dem Polnischen präsentiert.

Anlässlich des 70. Jahrestages des Belarussischen Programms von Radio Vatikan ist die Fortsetzung der Aufzeichnungen mit dem Titel „Auf dem Weg der Wunder und Eindrücke“ (1934) des Priesters P. Tatarynowitsch, des Gründers dieses Programms, veröffentlicht.

Den Leserinnen und Lesern wird ein Auszug aus der Dokumentarerzählung „ … Alle haben den Fehlbestand an Wein gesehen …“ (2020) des bekannten belarussischen Poeten L. Dranko-Majsjuk präsentiert. Diese Erzählung ist dem hervorragenden belarussischen Priester A. Stankewitsch gewidmet, hier findet sich auch die Rezension der Literaturwissenschaftlerin I. Bagdanowitsch über dieses Buch.

Die Rubrik „Poesie“ enthält Gedichte des bekannten Poeten J. Tschykwin und der bekannten Poetin A. Daniltschyk.

In der Rubrik „Präsentation“ erscheint der Essay „Dantes Beatrice in Bagdanowitschs Kranz …“ des Diakons M. Grakau, ein Text über den Lyrikband „Das Lied des Eises“ (2020) von A. Daniltschyk.

Die Schriftstellerin J. Semjonowa-Herzog macht die Leserinnen und Leser weiter mit dem Schaffen des deutschen Dichters Georg Oswald Cott bekannt: Diesmal hat sie sein Werk „Der Braunschweiger Burglöwe entsteht“ ins Belarussische übersetzt.

U. Siutschykau veröffentlicht seine neuen autobiographischen Aufzeichnungen unter dem Titel „Heb mich in die helle Weite hoch …“.

Einem der ältesten katholischen Heiligtümer ist der Artikel „Die katholische Kirche der Heiligen Dreifaltigkeit in Radaschkowitschy“ des Historikes S. Adamowitsch gewidmet.

Die Rubrik „Kunst“ enthält den Essay „Krywitschy und Umgebung“ des bekannten belarussischen Restaurators A. Spunt.

PODSUMOWANIE

Część materiałów niniejszego numeru kwartalnika poświęcono osobie św. Jana Pawła II. Rozpoczyna ją wiersz I. Bohdanowicz „Modli się Papież“, napisany przez autorkę przy obrazach wybitnych białoruskich malarzy S. Szemieta i A. Maroczkina, i kontynuują „List Benedykta XVI na 100. lecie urodzin Jana Pawła II“, fragmenty notatek osobistych Karola Wojtyły pod tytułem „Nic nie powinno nas straszyć“ (tłum. K. 550-ej rocznice objawień cudownego obrazu Matki Bożej Żyrowickiej została poświęcona publikacja literaturoznawcy I. Bohdanowicz „Strona religijnej historii Białorusi“, w której autorka prezentuje pracę historyka W. Charkiewicza (1890–1950) „Żyrowice — łask krynice...“ we własnym tłumaczeniu z języka polskiego.

Z okazji jubileuszu 70-lecia Sekcji Białoruskiej Radia Watykańskiego została nadrukowana kontynuacja notatek „Drogą dziwów i wrażeń“ (1934 r.) ks. P. Tatarynowicza, który założył tę Sekcję.

Uwadze czytelników proponuje się fragment opowieści dokumentalnej znanego białoruskiego poety L. Drańko-Majsiuka «... Wszyscy widzieli brak wina...“ (2020), poświęconej wybitnemu białoruskiemu kapłanowi A. Stankiewiczowi oraz recenzję na tę książkę autorstwa literaturoznawcy I. Bohdanowicz.

W rubryce „Poezja“ publikuje się wiersze znanych poetów Jana Czykwina i A. Danilczyk.

W rubryce „Prezentacja“ umieszczono esej diakona M. Grakowa „Beatrycze Dantego w «Wianku» Bohdanowicza...“, poświęcony książce poezji A. Danilczyk „Pieśń lodu“ (2020).

Pisarka A. Siemionowa-Hercog nadal zapoznaje czytelników z twórczością niemieckiego prozaika G. Cotta — tym razem ona przetłumaczyła na język białoruski jego utwór „Jak zjawił się lew brunszwicki“.

W. Siwczykow publikuje swoje nowe notatki autobiograficzne pod tytułem „Podnieś mnie w jasny obszar...“.

Jednej z najstarszych świątyń katolickich jest poświęcony art. historyka Ś. Adamowicz „Kościół Trójcy Świętej w Radoszkowiczach“.
