We open this issue with the address of Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz "Who is like God!" written on the occasion of the beginning of the peregrination of the figure of St. Michael the Archangel in the intention of Belarus. Here you will also find an excerpt from the book of St. John Paul II "Memory and Self-Consciousness" and article "Defeated by God" by K. Palys OP.

To the 70th anniversary of the Vatican Radio's Belarusian Service we publish the continuation of the notes "Through Wonders and Impressions" (1934) by fr. Piotr Tatarynovich, who was the founder of the service.

V. Buival translated memoirs "People and Beasts" by Lithuanian priest S. Ila, who was a prisoner of the Stutthof Nazi concentration camp (Poland).

Article "Portrait of Vincent Hadleuski by Piotra Sergijevich" by art crictic N. Usava dedicated to the memory of Fr. V. Hadleuski and the 120th anniversary of the famous Belarusian artist P. Sergijevich.

Journalist P. Vasileuski in his article "Aliaksey Marachkin and His Prayer for Belarus" writes about the art exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Artist.

Literary critic L. Leska in the study "Christian Motives in the Works of Maksim Harecki" reflects on the philosophical and religious views of the Classic of Belarusian literature and the characters of his prose.

Article by S. Chyhryn "With the Faith — in the Divine House of People" dedicated to the anniversary of the famous Belarusian poet M. Arochka; here you will also find Arochka's poems.

In column "Poetry" we publish poems by A. Sprynchan and S. Zakonnikau.

D. Bichel offers readers her autobiographical prose — memoirs entitled "In the Rays of the Merciful Jesus".

In article "Dedicated to the Country of Architects" folklorist L. Salavey writes about the new book by Doctor of Arts T. Gabrus "Wooden Christian Church Construction of Belarus" (2020).

Librarian Z. Davidouski in his article "Jesuit Church of Yuravichy" reflects on the difficult history of the famous Catholic shrine, which is now being restored by the Gomel branch of the Belrestoration as an Orthodox church.

A. Krasouski in his study "History of the Icon of the Virgin Mary of Fashchauka" writes about one of the distinctive examples of Catholic icon painting.

The well-known restorer I. Surmacheuski offers readers his essay "The Savior on the Balcony", in which he reflects on the traditions of painting Christ in Slavic iconography.

Diese Nummer beginnt mit der Ansprache des Erzbischofs Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz „Wer denn, wenn nicht Gott?“; geschrieben wurde sie zur Peregrination mit der Figur des heiligen Erzengels Michael, um für Belarus zu beten. Danach folgen ein Auszug aus dem Buch des heiligen Johannes Paul II. „Gedächtnis und Selbstbewusstsein“ und der Artikel „Die von Gott Besiegten“ von Krzysztof Pałys OP.

Anlässlich des 70. Jahrestages des Belarussischen Programms von Radio Vatikan erscheint die Fortsetzung der Aufzeichnungen „Auf dem Weg der Wunder und Eindrücke“ (1934) des Priesters P. Tatarynowitsch, des Gründers dieses Programms.

In der Übersetzung von W. Bujwal sind die Erinnerungen „Menschen und Tiere“ des litauischen Priesters S. Ily, eines ehemaligen Gefangenen im Konzentrationslager Stutthof (Polen), veröffentlicht.

Dem Andenken an den Priester V. Gadleuski und dem 120. Jahrestag des berühmten belarussischen Malers P. Sergijewitsch ist der Artikel „Das Porträt von Vincent Gadleuski, gemalt von Pjatro Sergijewitsch“ der Kunstwissenschaftlerin N. Ussawa gewidmet.

Über die Ausstellung der Kunstwerke von A. Maratschkin, die dem 80. Geburtstag des Malers gewidmet ist, schreibt der Journalist P. Wassileuski im Artikel „Aljaksej Maratschkin und sein Gebet für Belarus“.

Die Literaturwissenschaftlerin L. Lesjka reflektiert in der Studie „Christliche Motive im Schaffen von Maxim Garezki“ über die philosophisch-religiösen Ansichten des Klassikers der belarussischen Literatur und der Protagonisten seiner Prosa.

Dem Jubiläum des bekannten belarussischen Poeten M. Arotschka ist der Artikel „Ich habe Glauben – an Gottes Haus der Menschen“ von S. Tschygryn gewidmet; daran knüpft das Gedicht von M. Arotschka an.

Die Rubrik „Poesie“ enthält Gedichte von A. Spryntschan und S. Sakonnikau.

D. Bitschel präsentiert den Leserinnen und Lesern ihre autobiografische Prosa – ihre Erinnerungen unter dem Titel „In den Strahlen von Jesus, dem Barmherzigen“.

Im Artikel „Dem Land der Baumeister gewidmet“ schreibt die Folkloristin L. Salawej über das neue Buch „Der christliche Holzkirchenbau in Belarus“ (2020) von T. Gabrusj.

Der Bibliothekar S. Dawidouski reflektiert im Artikel „Die Jesuitenkirche in Jurawitschy“ über das komplizierte Schicksal des katholischen Heiligtums, das derzeit von der Gomeler Abteilung der offenen Aktiengesellschaft „Belrestavracija“ als orthodoxe Kirche restauriert wird.

A.Krasouski schreibt in der Studie „Die Geschichte des Marienbildes aus Faschtschauka“ über eines der herausragendsten Beispiele der katholischen Ikonenmalerei.

Der bekannte Restaurator I. Surmatscheuski präsentiert den Leserinnen und Lesern seinen Essay „Der Erlöser am Balkon“, in dem er über die Traditionen der Darstellung Christi in der slawischen Ikonenmalerei nachdenkt.

PODSUMOWANIE

Niniejszy numer kwartalnika rozpoczyna się odezwą arcybiskupa Tadeusza Kondrusiewicza „Któż jak Bóg!“ na rozpoczęcie peregrynacji figury świętego Archanioła Michała w intencji Białorusi. Publikuje się również fragment z książki św. Jana Pawła II „Pamięć i tożsamość“ i artykuł K. Pałysa ОР «Pokonani przez Boga».

Z okazji jubileuszu 70-lecia Sekcji Białoruskiej Radia Watykańskiego została nadrukowana kontynuacja notatek „Drogą dziwów i wrażeń“ (1934 r.) ks. P. Tatarynowicza, który założył tę Sekcję.

W tłumaczeniu W. Bujwała umieszczone zostały wspomnienia „Ludzie i zwierzęta“ litewskiego księdza S. Iły, który był więźniem obozu koncentracyjnego Stutthof.

Pamięci ks. W. Godlewskiego i 120-ej rocznicy urodzin wybitnego białoruskiego artysty P. Serhiewicza został poświęcony artykuł znawcy sztuki N. Usawej „Portret Wincenta Godlewskiego pędzla Piotry Serhiewicza“.

O wystawie obrazów A. Maraczkina z okazji 80-lecia artysty pisze dziennikarz P. Wasilewski w artykule „Alaksiej Maraczkin i jego modlitwa za Białoruś“.

Literaturoznawca L. Leśka w badaniu „Chrześcijańskie motywy w twórczości Maksyma Horeckiego“ rozważa o poglądach filozoficzno-religijnych klasyka literatury białoruskiej i bohaterów jego prozy.

Rocznicy urodzin znanego białoruskiego poety M. Aroczki został poświęcony artykuł S. Czygryna „Ja z wiarą — w Boski Dom ludzi“, umieszczono również wiersze M. Aroczki.

Bibliotekarz Z. Dawidowski w artykule „Jurawicki kościół jezuicki“ rozważa o ciężkim losie znanej świątyni katolickiej, która obecnie jest odnawiana przez homelski oddział „Biełrestauracja“ jako cerkiew prawosławna.

A. Krasowski w badaniu „Historia obrazu Panny Maryi z Faszczówki“ pisze o jednym z wybitnych wzorów malarstwa obrazów świętych.

Znany konserwator I. Surmaczewski proponuje uwadze czytalników swój esej «Zbawca na haubicy», w którym rozmyśla o tradycjach napisania postaci Chrystusa w słowiańskim malarstwie obrazów świętych.
