In the new issue of the quarterly magazine “Our Faith” you will find an article by D. Bichel and K. Lialko “Congratulations from the Motherland”, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Bishop’s Ordination of Metropolitan of the Archdiocese of Minsk-Mohilev T. Kondrusiewicz (p. 2–5).

“Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz about the Holiness of John Paul II” is the title of an interview of Marcin Przeciszewski with the former secretary of the great Pope, cardinal S. Dziwisz (p. 6–10).

K. Lialko in the essay “Oh, Those Pruzhany...” tells the readers about the connection of the first Belarusian Cardinal K. Świątek with the town of Pruzhany. N. Prakapovich writes about the history of the church in Pruzhany, where fr. K. Świątek served as a parochial vicar (p. 11–16).

In the article “Nonverbal Language in the Bible” by M. Pashuk the author interestingly tells the readers of nonverbal communication in the Holy Scriptures (p. 17–21).

We also continue to publish the translation of the work by Stephan Svyazhauski «Saint Thomas, re-read» made by A. Zhlutka, Section XII, «About the Angels, Pure Spirits» (p. 22–23).

Literary critic I. Bagdanovich offers the readers the article «Poetic Catechism of Jan Chachot». Here you will also find his poems translated from the Polish language (p. 24–29).

«The Four Loves» is the title of the work by English writer and theologian C.S. Lewis, we propose an excerpt from this work translated by Y. Shedzko (p. 30–32).

Fr. T. Jaklewicz in his article «Global War with Christians» writes about the painful problem of persecution of Christians in the world (p. 32–35).

«If There Is an Army Against Me, My Heart Shall not Fear...» is the title of the article by Doctor of Philology Zh. Nekrashevich-Karotkaya about the poem by Jan Radwan «Radzivilliada» and about the visit of the place of Chashniki battle (p. 36–41).

Art critic V. Buival in the essay «The Lateran Basilica» writes about this ancient Roman shrine (p. 42–43).

Artist M. Kupava in his article «It’s not Far-away Mountain» returns to the World War II events in Italy, the battle of Monte Cassino, where Belarusian soldiers also took part (p. 44–45).

In column «Poetry» we place verses by young poets J. Shedzko and K. Komar (p. 46–49).

M. Skobla in his article «Twenty three books by Nil Gilevich» writes about the unique edition of works of the national poet of Belarus in 23 volumes (p. 50–55).

Under the column «Prose» we place new works by U. Siuchykau (p. 56–59).

Literary critic I. Samatoy reflects on the philosophical lyric of famous poet from Bialystok professor J. Chikvin (p. 60–65).

Interview of I. Lamaka with artist F. Yanushkevich is dedicated to exhibition «Ten centuries of art of Belarus» (p. 66–69).

V. Buival in column «Gallery» introduces another masterpieces of art, works of Italian sculptor Donatello (p. 70–71).

RESÜMEE

Die neue Nummer der Vierteljahreszeitschrift „Unser Glaube“ beginnt mit dem Artikel von D. Bitschel und K. Lialko „Glückwunsch aus der Heimat“, der dem 25. Jubiläum der Bischofsweihe des Metropoliten der Erzdiözese Minsk und Mogiljow T. Kondrusiewicz gewidmet ist (S. 2–5).

„Kardinal Stanis ław Dziwisz über die Heiligkeit von Johannes Paul II.“ heißt das Interview von Martin Przeciszewski mit dem ehemaligen Sekretär des großen Papstes, Kardinal S. Dziwisz (S. 6–10).

Über die Beziehung des belarussischen Kardinals K. Świątek zu Prushany erzählt K. Lialko im Essay „Ach, diese Prushany…“. Über die Geschichte der katholischen Kirche in Prushany, wo Kardinal Świątek als Vikar tätig war, schreibt N. Prakapowitsch (S. 11–16).

Im Artikel „Außersprachliche Sprache in der Bibel“ erzählt M. Paschuk interessant über die nonverbalen Kommunikationsmittel in der Heiligen Schrift (S. 17–21).

Die Veröffentlichung des von A. Shlutka übersetzten Werkes von Stefan Swjashauski „Heiliger Thomas, neu gelesen“ — Abschnitt XII, „Über die Engel — die reinen Geister“ — wird fortgesetzt (S. 22–23).

Die Literaturwissenschaftlerin I. Bagdanowitsch präsentiert den Leserinnen und Lesern den Artikel „Der poetische Katechismus von Jan Tschatschot“. Darin sind auch die aus dem Polnischen übersetzten Gedichte des Poeten veröffentlicht (S. 24–29).

„Vier Arten der Liebe“ heißt das Werk des englischen Schriftstellers und Theologen C.S. Lewis, das in der Übersetzung von J. Schedsjko (Abschnitt III „Freundlichkeit“) veröffentlicht wird (S. 30–32).

Der Literaturwissenschaftler W. Bujwal schreibt im Essay „Die Lateranbasilika“ über das altertümliche römische Heiligtum (S. 42–43).

Der Maler M. Kupawa berichtet im Artikel „Nicht mehr ein ferner Berg“ über die Kriegsereignisse in Italien auf Monte Cassino, an denen auch belarussische Soldaten teilnahmen (S. 44–45).
