SUMMARY

In column Gallery that opens this edition of Our Faith art expert Valery Buival presents to readers the next masterpiece of Christian art The Baptism of Jesus of Giovanni Bellini (early 16th century), an altar painting from Santa Corona Church in Vicenco (Italy) (>>).

In column Our Sanctuaries we place two articles, which are united by place of action and hard fate of two Catholic sacred things, a miraculous icon of Mother of God of Yuravichi and a church in Yuravichi. Ruslan Garodka, an author of article History of Miraculous Icon of Mother of God of Yuravichi, presents interesting data from the history of the icon, describes numerous miracles of Mother of God of Yuravichi, who is worshiped both by the Catholic and by the Orthodox inhabitants of Belarusian Palessie (>>). Art expert Aliaksandr Yarashevich in his article Sufferings of the Church in Yuravichi explores the history of fight for the church in Yuravichi built by Jesuits after suppressing of a revolt in 1863. As a result of this fight reconstruction of the Catholic church into the Orthodox one took place (>>).

Historian and Bible expert Galina Sinila in her next article from our traditional column In the World of Bible researches one of the most ancient and hardest for explanation extracts from the Holy Scripture, the story of Cain and Abel (>>).

In column On the Way of Faith pen-woman Irina Zharnasiek talks to father Aliaksandr Chaykouski about responsibility of a man for use of time, one of the great God's gifts, and also about how to find time for God in our everyday life (>>).

Poetry in this edition of Our Faith is represented by the verses of State Yanka Kupala prizewinner and also International Botev prizewinner, Belarusian poet Nil Gilevich and Belarusian poetess Nina Matiash (>>|>>).

In column Archives Speak doctor of human sciences, journalist and historian Yury Turonak researches circumstances of foundation of Belarusian group of students of Roman-Catholic Spiritual Academy in Petersburg in 1913 and main directions of its activity (>>). In column Haereditas historian Ales Zhlutka dedicates his article to the 750th anniversary of coronation of Mindowg, who gave the state status to Christianity of Roman rite on the territory of Lithuania-Belarus. We publish sketch At Steading in the Night-time by Danuta Bichel, State Yanka Kupala prizewinner, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the birth of writer Artur Tsiazhki (>>), and also story Mother's Prayer by Artur Tsiazhki (>>).

Historian Uladzimir Dzianisau acquaints readers with the history of Benedict convent in Minsk founded in the beginning of the 17th century and destroyed in the sixties of the 20th century (>>).

In column Music readers will find article How to Play on an Organ by Juzaf Grym by Svetlana Sheypa where the author gives some information regarding condition of Church's music in Belarus in the end of 19th century and acquaints readers with one of the first textbooks for organists published in Vilnia in 1881 (>>).

Kunstwissenschaftler Valery Buival stellt in der Rubrik Galerie ein nächstes Glanzwerk der christlichen Kunst vor – «Taufe von Christus» vom Giovanni Bellini (Anfang des 16. Jh.) – das Altarbild aus der Kirche Santa Korona in Vintschentza (Italien) (>>).

In der Rubrik Unsere Heiligtümer sind zwei Artikel gestellt, die durch die Aufenthalt und durch das quälen Schicksal von zwei katholischen Heiligtümer gebunden sind – das wundertätige Bild der Gottesmutter von Juravitschy und die katholische Kirche in Juravitschy. Der Autor des Artikels «Aus der Geschichte des wundertätigen Bildes der Gottesmutter von Juravitsch»y Ruslan Garodka bringt interessante Nachrichte aus der Geschichte der Ikone, beschreibt zahlreiche Wunder von Gottesgebärerin von Juravitschy, die als von katholischen auch orthodoxischen Bewohner des belarussischen Polesje verehrt ist (>>). In dem Artikel «Die Qualen der katholischen Kirche in Juravitsch»y öffnet der Kunstwissenschaftler Alexander Jaraschewitsch die Umstände des Kampfes für die von Jesuiten gebauten Kirche in Juravitschy nach der Zerschlagung des Aufstands im Jahre 1863, wie ein Ergebnis dieses Kampfes war Umgestaltung des Heiligtums in die orthodoxische Kirche (>>).

Geschichtswissenschaftlerin und Biblistin Galina Sinila in dem nächsten Artikei aus der Reihe Im Welt der Bibel erforscht ein des uraltesten und des schwierigsten für die Erklärung Fragment der Heiligen Schrift – das Gleichnis über Abel und Kain (>>).

In der Rubrik Auf dem Weg des Glaubens unterhaltet sich die Schriftstellerin Iryna Sharnasek mit dem Priester Alexander Tschaikovski über die Verantwortung des Mensches für Nutzung der Zeit – einer des großen Gottesgaben – darüber, wie kann man Zeit für Gott in alltäglichem Leben finden (>>).

Poesie ist durch die Gedichte von Verdienter Wissenschaftler, National-Kupalapreisträger und International-Botzevpreisträger, Volksdichter des Belarus Nil Gilevitsch und von belarussischer Dichterin Nina Matjasch vorgelegt (>>|>>).

In der Rubrik Zeugnisse aus Archiven erforscht Dr. der humanitären Wissenschaften, Journalist und Historiker Jury Turonok die Umstände der Gründung im Jahr 1913 des belarussischen Zirkel der Studenten der Römisch-katholischen Priesterakademie in Petersburg auch die Hauptrichtungen seiner Tätigkeit (>>). Auf der «Archiv-Seite» finden die Leser die Urkunden über das geistlichen katholischen Leben aus dem Jahr 1871 (>>).

Mit 750. Jubileum der Krönung von Mindowe, der dem Christentum von westlichem Ritus auf den Territorien Litauen-Belarus der staatliche Status gab, ist der Artikel vom Historiker Ales Shludko in der Rubrik Haereditas gebundet, mit den aus Lateinisch übersetzten Urkunden, die mit dieses Ereignisses verbunden sind (>>). Dazu gehört auch eine Erforschung vom deutschen Historiker Cornelius Will «Über der Verfasser des Chronicon Moguntinum» (>>|>>).

In der Rubrik Übertragungen wird die Vers-Werken von Fürstin Franciska Urschula Radzivil angeboten (>>|>>).

National-Kalinovskipreisträger, Schriftsteller Viktor Karamasov bietet ein Fragment aus einer Erzählung über den Volkskunstmaler des Belarus Gawryla Waschtschanka «Rote Pforte» an (>>|>>).

Mit dem 60. Jubileum des Schriftstellers Artur Tzjazhki druckt die Zeitschrift eine Esse von National-Kupalapreisträger Danuta Bitschel «In der Nacht auf dem Gehöft» (>>) und eine Erzählung von Artur Tzjazhki «Ein Gebet der Mutter» (>>).

Mit der Geschichte des am Anfang des 17. Jh. gegründeten und im 60-igen Jahren des 20. Jh. zerstörten Benedektinerin-Klosters in Minsk macht Historiker Wladimir Denisov bekannt (>>).

In der Rubrik Musik ist der Artikel von Swjetlana Schejpa «Eine Schule für Orgel von Josef Grim» gedruckt, in dem die Autorin Nachrichten über den Stand der kirchlichen Musik in Belarus am Ende des 19. Jh. bringt und mit einem des ersten Lehrbuch für Orgelspieler macht bekannt, das 1881 im Vilno herausgegeben war (>>).

Historyk sztuki Walery Bujwał przedstawia w rubryce «Galeria» kolejne arcydzieło sztuki chrześcijańskiej – «Chrzest Chrystusa» Giovanni Belliniego (p. XVI w.) – obraz ołtarzowy z kościoła Santa Korona w Vincenze (Italia) (>>).

Po tych wydarzeniach świątynia została przebudowana pod cierkiew prawosławną (>>).

Historyk i badacz Biblii, kandydat nauk filologicznych Halina Siniła w kolejnym artykule w rubryce «W świetle Biblii» bada jeden z najstarożytniejszych i najbardziej skomplokowanych do tłumaczenia fragmentów tekstu Pisma Świętego – przypowieść o Kainie i Ablu (>>).

W rubryce «Na drodze do wiar»y pisarka Iryna Żarnasiek rozmawia z księdzem Aleksandrem Czajkowskim o odpowiedzialności człowieka za wykorzystanie czasu – jednego z wielkich darów Bożych, o tym jak odnaleźć czas dla Boga w życiu codziennym (>>).
